Administrative Block :

KVK has a well developed administrative building with 405 sqft area consisting of Office, Staff rooms, Soil and water testing, Laboratory, Trichoderma and PSB production Lab and Seminar hall.

 

 

Farmers Hostel :

KVK has well equipped farmers hostel (305 sqft) that can accommodate 30 farmers. It has eight rooms with 2 beds facility and two Dormitories, with 10 beds facility Kitchen, Dining hall and Recreation hall.



KVK Instructional Farm :

KVK has 20 ha. of land, wherein farm trials and seed production of the crops grown in the district are taken up. Millets based croping systems with IFS models where in Horticultural crops like Suppota, Coconut, Tamarid are taken up..



KVK Farmers Training Hall :

A seminor hall which accomdiates 150 farmers. Usage of Audio-Visual Aids like LCD, Digital Camera, TVs, VCP.




KVK Soil & Water Testing Lab :

Fertilizer recomondation to farmers provided through soil health card.





Demonstration Units :

Horticulture : In 2.5 Ha of area Sapota, Guava , Coconut, Tamarind crops are grown.
Nursery Unit : 0.5acre
Vermicompost : 03 Units with a size of 30x40 ft.
Rain water Harvesting : 01
Dairy Unit : 18 No's(DHF CB)
Sheep Farm : 25 No's(Deccani)
Backyard poutry unit : 20 No's(Swarnadhara)
Fodder and Grass Unit : 0.8ha
Azolla Production Unit : 10 x 10 ft
Fodder and Grass Unit : 0.8ha
Hydroponic fodder unit : 8x8 ft
Ground Water Recharge : 10x10ft
Equipments: For imparting training and documentation work, KVK possess Computers, Xerox Machine,
Fax Machine, Audio-Visual Aids like LCD, Digital Camera, TVs, VCP.
Vehicles : Jeep, Motorcycles and Tractor.
